Eclipse Day Train

Dallas, Garland & Northeastern Railroad (DGNO) 3417, 3416 and AKMD 2076 lead a train east into Garland, TX, on the DGNO late in the day on Monday, April 8, 2024.
DGNO 3417 is an EMD SD40M-2. Reportedly: it was built in 1966 as an SD45, ATSF 1827, serial number 32083. In 1970 it was renumbered to ATSF 5527. In 1983 ATSF rebuilt it into SD45u 5369. It was sold to MK becoming MKCX 5369 circa 1994. It was sold Helm leasing apparently sold a couple more times becoming SD40M-2 CEFX 3146 before becoming DGNO 3417.
