SP 9504 in Stockton

Southern Pacific SD45X 9504, still wearing EMD demonstrator paint, approaches the diamonds at Stockton, CA. The date of this photo was not recorded, likely in 1973.
SP 9504 is an EMD SD45X, SP Class EF642-2. Reportedly: it was built in 1971 to SP specifications as EMD 4202, builders number 36807. It was sold to Southern Pacific in 1972 becoming SP 9504.
The disposition of this locomotive is, retired in 1984, scrapped.
