WP 704 in Oakland

Western Pacific (WP) 704 is sitting in the WP power pool just off Adeline Street, in Oakland, CA, in the summer of 1973. Note the old Adeline Street bridge in the background.
WP 704 is an EMD GP7, WP Class RS-62. Reportedly: it was built in 1952 builder's number 17028.
The disposition of this locomotive is: assigned, but never wore, UP 102. Sold to Mountain Diesel Transportation (MDT) 704 in 1987.
