In the Tacoma BN yard, on Monday, June 24, 1974, is Big Sky Blue F3 9732. This old warrior has many more years in her and after a repaint and a renumber it will last into the early 80's as the second 706.
BN 9732 is an EMD F3A. Reportedly: it was built in 1947, builders number 4334, as GN 260A. It became GN 366A. After the merger it became BN 9732 then it lasted into the early 80s as BN 706
