On Sunday, September 27, 2026, SP 2400 was with 2409 leading a local freight leaving "Pleasanton" after being passed by an ACE train. This is at the Tri-City Society of Model Engineers (TCSME) model railroad club in the historic Niles depot in Fremont, CA.
My models are both English (Bowser) ALCo C-415s.
The real SP 2400 was an ALCo C-415, SP Class AS415-1. Reportedly: it was built in 1966 builder's number 3458-1. Sold in 1977 to Fundidora Monterrey a steel mill in Monterrey, Mexico with some other C-415s.
