Union Pacific (UP) 9919 and 9916 lead the Mission Bay Turn into College Park in San Jose, CA on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, as a northbound commute shoots by with JPBX 905 shoving on the rear.
UP 9919 is an EMD SD32ECO (UP Designation SD59MX). Reportedly: it was built in 1992 by EMD as 6327, a model SD60M, builders number 926302-12. It was renumbered 2482, retired as such in 2012 and then it was rebuilt in 2012, repower serial number 20107425-005.
