On Thursday, September 19, 2024, at San José (CA) Diridon station, Joint Powers Board (CalTrain) JPBX 308 is leading an Electric Multiple Unit (EMU) "KISS" Trainset.
JPBX 308 is a cab unit used in an Electric Multiple Unit (EMU) Trainset. Reportedly: Stadler refers to these trainsets as "KISS", an acronym for "Komfortabler Innovativer Spurtstarker S-Bahn-Zug", meaning "comfortable, innovative, sprint-capable suburban train".
