Western Pacific (WP) 1503 is sitting in the WP power pool just off Adeline Street, in Oakland, CA, in the summer of 1973.
WP 1503 is an EMD SW1500. Reportedly: it was built in 1973 builders number 72692-3. It's the last switcher built for the WP. It became UP 1317, then later UPY-1041. In 2011 the UP donated it to the Feather River Rail Society in Portola, CA.
