Union Pacific Railroad Company (UP) UPY 1009 is outside the shops in Roseville, CA, Saturday, November 2, 2024.
UP's UPY 1009 is a Progress Rail EMD24B, UP designation GP22T4. Reportedly: it was built in 1980, as a GP38-2 MP 2221 builder's number 796323-24, becoming UP 2221 and 721 before rebuilding.
