Former New South Wales Government Railways (NSW) 6040 at the NSW Rail Museum (NSWRM) in Thirlmere, New South Wales, Australia, on March 28, 2015.
NSW 6040 is a Beyer Peacock & Co, Manchester, England, AD60 Class 4-8-4+4-8-4 Beyer-Garratt. It was built in 1956, builder's number 7542, the last steam locomotive built for the New South Wales Government Railways. It was retired in 1967.
The NSW Rail Museum is the main railway museum in New South Wales, Australia. A division of Transport Heritage NSW, it was previously known as the New South Wales Rail Transport Museum (NSWRTM), Rail Heritage Centre and Trainworks.
