Ex-SP GP9 in North Carolina

On Saturday, October 1, 2022, a former SP GP9, the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad (GSMR) 1751, ran around the Tuckasegee River Excursion train in Dillsboro, NC.
GSMR 1751 is an EMD GP9. Reportedly: it was built by EMD in 1955 as T&NO 420, SP Class DF-604, builders number 19968. In the 1965 renumbering it became SP 3432, SP Class EF418-4. It was upgraded in 1970 becoming SP 3312, SP Class EF418E-1. It was retired in 1986 and sold in 1987.
Other reporting marks and numbers reportedly associated with this locomotive include: Kyle 1751, AEZR 1751, becoming 1755, SJVR 1751.
