On Monday, July 21, 2025, in Wells, NV, an eastbound Union Pacific 2+1+0 is going thru town. Power on the train is UP 9782, 6267 + 7812.
UP 9782 is a Wabtec C44ACM. Reportedly it was originally built in 1994 as CNW 8678 a GE C44-9W and subsequently rebuilt.
