On Friday, December 26, 2025, at the Tri-City Society of Model Engineers (TCSME) model railroad club in the historic Niles depot in Fremont, CA, my HO scale Rapido Southern Pacific (SP) PA-2 6044 was resting at Livermore Station.
The real SP 6044 was an ALCo PA-2. Reportedly: It was built in 1953, serial number 80844, SP class DF-11. In 1965 it was reclassified to SP Class AP620A-5. It was retired in 1967.
