On Saturday, May 23, 2026, Susie and I were at Washington, DC, Union Station, boarding Amtrak (reporting mark AMTK) Acela Train 2214 bound for New York City Penn Station. 156 mph is the highest speed I measured.
AMTK 2133 (pictured) is an Alstom Avelia Liberty Power Car assigned to Acela service.
