Muni 1051 on the Embarcadero

San Francisco Municipal Railway (Muni) 1051 is running on the F Line, turning onto Don Chee Way from The Embarcadero, in San Francisco, CA, on Thursday, July 22, 2021.
Muni 1051 is a St. Louis Car Co. PCC. Reportedly: Muni 1051 was originally built in 1948 for Philadelphia Transportation Company, Philadelphia PA, as car No. 2123. The 1051 was acquired by Muni from Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) in 1992 and rebuilt by Morrison-Knudsen in 1993. This car is painted is painted in the “simplified” green and cream livery that supplanted the famous “Wings” seen on several streetcars in the historic fleet.
