Salton Sea Action

On Monday, November 11, 2024, a westbound 4+0 Union Pacific (UP) intermodal is rounding the curve at milepost 650.2 at Bombay Beach, CA along the Salton Sea. The power for this train is UP 5933, 8250, 7125 and 7296.
UP 5933 is a Wabtec/GE C44ACM. Reportedly: It was built in 2003 as a GE AC4400CW, UP designation C44ACCTE, serial number 54123.
