UP Eastbound on the Sunset

On Monday, November 11, 2024, 12:35 p.m., an eastbound Union Pacific (UP) 5+2+0 intermodal train is crossing Salt Creek, on the Sunset Route near Niland, CA.
Out of the frame to the far left is the Salt Creek Beach Campground and the Salton Sea. The elevation here is about 190 feet below sea level. Power on this train is UP 2538, 9092, 9045, 5960 4979 + 5938, 7976.
UP 2538 is a GE ES44AC, UP Designation C45AH. Reportedly: it was built in 2015 builder's number 63349. The bridge is still lettered "Southern Pacific".
